Non-monogamy can be any type of form of sex-related connection outside of an additional connection you may be in. Love does not need to be involved, it can be simply physical. Polyamory suggests many likes, essentially. It can be a sexual relationship or a non-sexual yet mentally enchanting one, as well as it still counts as polyamory.
